Ehren managed the interface, transfer, logistics, and operational aspects with Remington Firearms on behalf of TrackingPoint. As the VP of Product Design, the procedures for production scale assembly, zeroing, and testing of the TrackingPoint systems were developed and transferred to Remington personnel to support the program.
As the VP of Operations later in the program Ehren directly oversaw the production of all units to Remington for this program. This involved taking over operations to improve efficiency which lead from a 3 unit/day production rate to 22 unit/day production rate.

Major challenges to this program involved managing the logistics of a startup (TrackingPoint) and an industry veteran (Remington) to deliver high tech products to an industry unfamiliar with high tech.
Product sourcing of components to deliver high volume with uncompromising quality was a significant hurdle solved with vendor management and an excellent team.
Volume production ramping of a new product in a new company presents significant obstacles as well to setup supply chain logistics and production quality standards in an environment with neither in pre-existence.
